Vibration analyzer and balancer features

Know where to add / remove trial weight in first round!
Locate exact point of unbalance in first round using proprietary Automatic 2-round field balancing method.
No need to worry about increasing vibrations due to unbalance in second round because operation is performed at point of unbalance in first round.
Automatic machine speed determination from unbalance signal at 1 x machine RPM without requiring tachometer signal using digital FFT techniques.

Verify causes of vibrations before field balancing
Analyze unbalance, looseness, misalignment, bent shaft or similar problems occurring at less than 5 times of machine speed with 3 Hz / 180 RPM of FFT spectral resolution up-to 1000 Hz.
Analyze bearing problems occurring at greater than 3.5 times of machine speed with 12 Hz / 720 RPM of FFT spectral resolution up-to 5000 Hz.
Improved FFT performance with inbuilt Hanning window, overlapping and averaging techniques.

3 methods for field balancing to suit conditions
We designed 3 types of field balancing modes based on how to determine machine speed for balancing
- When unbalance dominates the vibration spectrum, proprietary Automatic balancing determines machine speed from vibration signal
- Built-in tachometer to get angle of unbalance in degrees
- Manual entry of machine speed is also allowed like the olden days.
Get your setup ready within 5 minutes
Do not waste time setting up tachometer in unfavorable lighting and / or mounting conditions for field balancing.
Connect vibration sensor and high brightness stroboscope to proceed with proprietary automatic balancing in minutes.

Pause real-time FFT spectrum for vibration analysis
Navigate through the vibration spectrum to check severity at different frequencies.
Frequency zooming for better graphical display resolution.
Hold real-time spectrum update for careful inspection.
Amplitude zooming also possible when viewing saved vibration spectrum data.

Easy to use vibration analysis for beginners and technicians
Don’t want to struggle with understanding vibration spectrum? Levels mode derives the top 6 frequencies in descending order of their contribution to total vibration severity. You can relate each of the frequencies with certain kind of problem, for example frequency at 1 x machine speed suggests unbalance, at 2 x machine speed suggests looseness and likewise.
Better frequency accuracy is achieved through FFT interpolation techniques.

Save vibration analysis and field balancing data per machine
Provide numerical representation of every machine for vibration analysis.
Data is saved as a combination of ‘machine number’ and ‘trial number’ with ‘trial number’ being automatically incremented.
Save multiple vibration spectrum readings with the same machine number for easy vibration analysis.

Reliable hardware integration for unit conversion
Get stable and precise field balancing and FFT vibration analysis results with accurate unit conversion from acceleration to velocity / displacement. This can be less than 1 mm/s RMS at 1800 RPM or less than 100 microns peak-to-peak at 1200 RPM for appropriate machine structure.
Digital True RMS total vibration level calculation
Ensure reliable total vibration amplitude with true digital RMS calculation at high sampling rate.
Constant current accelerometer with shielding for increased reliability
Do not let field conditions degrade your vibration signal from accelerometer with faraday’s cage shielding and loop powered accelerometer.
Check comparison of Automatic balancing
Comparison of field balancing methods
Inbuilt tachometer with up-to 70 cm optical range
Locate angle of unbalance in degrees with in-built laser guided tachometer as reference for field balancing.
Point tachometer in-line with the accelerometer to measure angle of unbalance in the direction of rotation in first round of field balancing.

Designed for your safety on-field
Technician’s safety on-field is very important. Work with standard 10 feet long accelerometer cable and check point of unbalance using high brightness stroboscope from a safe distance.
No need to mount tachometer near the machine under maintenance where it probably can get damaged.
